Early January Nordic conditions in Telluride
With just over one-quarter of the season already gone, here are the current trail conditions. Excellent base depth and snow quality up at Trout Lake and very good ski conditions at Priest Lake Nordic trails after the most recent snowfall. The Priest trail base is still thin and will need more shoveling and snowfall. Other venues in the region are challenged with thin snow cover. Telluride Valley Floor initial pack-out has just recently begun.
